REFLECTiON ON POETRY SHOULD BE
At the start of poetry class I wasn’t feeling the class. I didn’t like expressing my feeling through writing and telling people I don’t come in contact with everyday about me. When we were being assigned poems I never did it because I felt poetry was a waste of time and it didn't make since. But when we were asked to write a poem about what you think poetry should be, Inow that was easy. It made since this time because we could basiclly write whatever we thought poetry should be, without personification or metaphors.
My favorite line in my poem is “Poetry should pour the love I have for singing into a theater”. That’s my favorite line because it shows me that I can be somebody and anybody if I put my mind to it and stay focused on what I believe in. And trust and believe, Ronnae Colemon will become someone famous.
